A cuttin’ a sewin’

So I’ve been spending my days brainstorming and creating products for our Smitty Baby line (and juggling Wylder at the same time, of course). I have so many ideas and thoughts running through my head I can hardly stand it. I must focus! I’m trying to take it one step at a time, so we’ll see how it goes.

I’m in desperate need of my soon-coming craft room (that will accompany the new loft space Jbird and I have been eating, sleeping, and breathing for the past year and a half). Right now there are threads stuck to every part of this dinky apartment.  The other day I rescued a tiny navy one from heading straight down Wylie’s hatch.  (Not sure how that got there.)  Needless to say, I’m very ready!  Yesterday, as I was giving a good friend the tour of our upcoming new pad, I got so excited about it that I busted out in a completely embarrassing original song and dance number titled, “A Cuttin’, A Sewin’.” I’m sure you can imagine.  It was accompanied with lots of sweet shoulder and hand movements.  

Craft room or not, it’s happening.  One step at a time…

1.  Logo is on the way.

2.  Photographer is booked.

3.  Products are in the making.

4.  Website is being organized.
