Craftin’ up a storm, y’all
I’ve been bitten by the crafty bug. I’m trying to get all my presents in order for my family and friends. Little scraps of fabric and paper are flying in every direction.

Poor Jbird, who has to step over mountains of material to get to the kitchen, and move paper cutters and rubber cement to make a sandwich. These things shall pass. As I type, light fixtures are being hung in our new pad. This very second, old wooden doors are being cleaned up to sparkle in their new home. Yay!…or Yea! (I never really know the spelling of that).
The mess really has been paying off. I’m pretty proud of the handmade stationery I made for all my girlie friends. It was pretty fun sewing through paper.
Wylie has been a very good boy patiently watching me sew on buttons. I only laid him down once on a needle. That’s actually true. Luckily, I found it just in time. Yikes! Cause who could stand to poke this little guy with a needle?

I also just finished stockings for our little family.

I love these colors. They remind me of ice cream, which has absolutely nothing to do with Christmas (unless, of course, you make snow ice cream when you celebrate Christmas, which I don’t…). They also remind me of the colors in Rudolph, the Red-nosed Reindeer movie. That’s how I justify them as Christmas colors. So don’t argue with me about it.
However, one thing I’m not sure of is whose stocking is whose. I’m thinking: (L to R) Mine, Wildman’s, Jbird’s. What do you think?
Welp, Merry Christmas everyone. Hope you all have a steamy cup of spicy cider this year! And hopefully you’ll be fortunate enough to enjoy one of these.
